Dr. Bridget Swartzel has a strong interest in neurologic rehabilitation and is currently sitting for the Neurologic Clinical Specialist (NCS) exam in March 2026. What fuels her as a physical therapist is building genuine connections with patients and designing individualized, goal-driven treatment plans that challenge, motivate, and actually make therapy fun. She believes movement is powerful—especially when therapy is high-intensity, evidence-based, and centered around what truly matters to each patient.

Bridget earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Florida and completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Nova Southeastern University. During her education, she quickly realized she loved working with individuals of all ages with neurological conditions. Since then, she’s had the chance to work with a wide range of diagnoses, including spinal cord injury, Parkinson’s disease, stroke, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury, myasthenia gravis, balance disorders, and vestibular conditions.

When she’s not in the clinic, Bridget is usually moving in some way—whether that’s CrossFit, hanging out at the YMCA, lifting weights, or squeezing in a yoga class. She also loves getting outside with her husband and son and finding new ways to stay active, balanced, and a little sweaty :)
